One of my favorite activities is to uses Oracle databases for adobe pdf searching.  This is a great way to quickly find archived data that a specific branch of my company needs.  Here are two ways to make indexing easier.

Naming Convention of PDF
It is important to save files under a specific naming convention that will allow people to quickly find pdfs based on search words.  Group one high level word with the specific title of the pdf.

Content on PDF
For documents that may be more numbers than words, it is important to include a title and description for each area of the PDF.  This is especially useful for accounting and bookkeeping documents.

The transactional results are not visisble to other transacts until the transaction is finished.

Consistency
Databases goes from one valid state to another valid state.

Durability
Results of a transaction have permanence.

Oracle continues to acquire other competing companies that accel specific areas to improve on its products.  That is another major advantage.

Oracle's VMware division is known for their application server.  It is a great way to accelerate e-business.  The deployment of the e-business suite on the VMware infrastructure is one of the key aspects that separates this product from its competitiors.
